The vagaries of keeping up with your computer

You know, as you lie peacefully on your couch, being a potato, watching the tube, your computer isn't just sleeping on your desk. Oh no, it's interacting with other computers, talking to itself, and blissfully watching your Neopets die. Yup. It's waiting for you of course, it knows you're there. And when you finally drag your body up to the chair, it pretends to spring to life, yawning, at your touch on the space bar, when in reality it's always been there and is actually saying, Where the hell have you been?! Now thank goodness mine is pretty good-humored and cooperates pretty well, taking me to the right places, functioning properly, etc. But now remember, if ever you leave your computer sitting for a long time, it may very well still be awake.....and THINKING!!!
